.NET 7 minimal API from scratch | FULL COURSE | clean architecture, repository pattern, CQRS MediatR

In this course I want to provide you a project structure and code organization to get you started with real .NET 7 minimal API projects. It's a full course on this topic where I start from creating and explaining the project structure, setting up different layers using EF Core, repository pattern, CQRS and MediatR. The biggest part of the video is however around the .NET 7 minimal API, taking you from the initial setup, explaining route handlers, implementing all CRUD operations and so on. Last but not least, this course walks you through the process of refactoring the .NET 7 minimal API so that it becomes readable, maintainable and scalable. At the end, you'll have a full project structure organized according to modern architectural patterns that you can take as a template for your own projects.

The latest version of the NetBeans IDE features a range of new tools for HTML5/JavaScript and supports mixed Java/C++ development. It is now available for download in beta.

• Changes were made to how Asset Catalogs in Xamarin.iOS projects are loaded in order to reduce solution load time.
• We have updated Xamarin.Forms templates to use the latest version.
• We have fixed an issue with ASP.NET Core Web Applications being debugged through Kestrel that would show the error message "Unable to configure HTTPS endpoint. No server certificate was specified...".
• Enabling the AppInsights site extension in App Service from Visual Studio now happens through the use of specific Application Settings.

Logging is a big part of software development for many years now. One can argue that a logging mechanism is a must-have part of any application or library. I would agree with that statement. Logging has a crucial part to play in a scenario where you can’t use interactive debugging (that is, attaching a debugger like Visual Studio). It allows us to investigate errors after the problem already happened. In some cases, like Production Debugging, logs might be the only information you have. 

Today we are releasing the first preview of Visual Studio 2017 version 15.5. You can either download it from here, or if you already have Preview installed, you’ll receive a notification that the update is available. 

This release contains the following improvements and enhancements:

• This release now installs Java™ Development Kit 8, Update 181 (JDK version 8u181). 

These are the customer-reported issues addressed in 15.7.6:

• Visual C++ Redistributable 2017 does not report the install state in a specific registry location.
• In 15.7 users may see extensions load without all of their assets and cause VS to crash. This has been addressed for 15.7.6.
• Visual Studio 2017 version 15.7.5 crashes when opening a solution.
