.NET 6 has been tested with Visual Studio 16.9 Preview 4 and Visual Studio for Mac 8.9. We recommend you use those builds if you want to try .NET 6. 

Welcome to the April 2019 release of Visual Studio Code. During April, we were busy with the Preview release of the Remote Development extensions. These extensions let you work with VS Code over SSH on a remote machine or VM, in Windows Subsystem for Linux (WSL), or inside a Docker container.

Issues Fixed in this Release
Xamarin app throws Cannot access a disposed object. Object name: 'MobileAuthenticatedStream'error.
Xamarin.Android app throws ClassNotFoundException when deriving from Application class.
Upgrading may cause previously installed Windows and Android SDKs to be uninstalled.
Bumped JDK 8 to the latest version to avoid download failures from Oracle website.
