thanks to a new feature added in Visual Studio 2019 16.1, we can combine the best of both worlds when it comes to support the App Installer technology: the easiness of automatically generating an .appinstaller file as part of the package creation process and the flexibility of the new update features added in Windows 10 1903. 

Welcome to the April 2019 release of Visual Studio Code. During April, we were busy with the Preview release of the Remote Development extensions. These extensions let you work with VS Code over SSH on a remote machine or VM, in Windows Subsystem for Linux (WSL), or inside a Docker container. 

• The solution name in title bar is truncated.
• Missing interpolation in warning when packaging Cloud Service projects.
• Visual Studio will no longer show an error message on startup after you reset or import settings in certain cases.
• Accessibility issues in Cloud Service projects where wrong inputs in the diagnostics configuration window are not read by screen readers have been fixed. 

• Missing translation in the top level menus issue for all languages.
• Visual Studio Installer Infinite Update Loop (starting on 1/23 or later).
• We have fixed a crash that occurs while trying to rename a tag within a razor block in a .cshtml file. 

In a Visual Studio Live! conference keynote Tuesday a couple of Microsoft program managers were on hand to discuss what's going on with .NET today and tomorrow, clearly signaling that .NET Core is the future of the ecosystem and that programmers should use it for all new development projects.  

Over the last few updates to Visual Studio 2017, we’ve been hard at work adding new features to boost your productivity while you’re writing code. Many of these are the result of your direct feedback coming from the UserVoice requests, Developer Community tickets, and direct feedback we’ve encountered while talking to developers like you. 

During the last Build conference, Microsoft has announced the next version of Visual Studio with C# 7.3 support. This is yet another minor language update with some quite interesting features. The main change was related to generics, starting from C# 7.3 there 3 more constraints: unmanaged, System.Enum and System.Delegate.
