A bank account allows us to send and receive money and has its unique number. Anytime we tell about an account in a bank, an account is always a bank account. In the other hand, an account in an information system is used to authorize a user. We have the term "account" meaning something absolutely different in two different domains. Domain has an impact on what we imagine when someone says a concrete term. So we have to learn and specify domain terms first.

Let's speak about e-shop domain. What is a price? For us, as customers, it is how much we pay. A manager can think about price as an amount that his company pays to the supplier. For an accountant, a price is just a number. And e-shop programmer is now confused.

Language is crucial because customers and experts are telling their stories in their language. But it is also natural language, inaccurate, ambiguous, context-aware. And as we can see, language can be tricky even within one domain. 

At Microsoft Build Live today, we are sharing a first look at our plans for .NET Core 3. The highlight of .NET Core 3 is support for Windows desktop applications, specifically Windows Forms, Windows Presentation Framework (WPF), and UWP XAML. You will be able to run new and existing Windows desktop applications on .NET Core and enjoy all the benefits that .NET Core has to offer.

• We have implemented a C++ linker fix regarding information in PDB where the incorrect module info could result in heap corruption when producing a stripped PDB file either by PDBCopy.exe or by link.exe when option /PDBSTRIPPED is specified.
• We have corrected dual signing of the ARM64 Visual C++ Redistributable installer. 

What’s new for performance in .NET Core and ASP.NET Core 3.0 – Ben Adams
One of the biggest advantages of using .NET Core (besides cross-platform support) is the drastic improvements in performance. Because the .NET Core team was able to make minor breaking changes in the runtime and Base Class Library (BCL), lots of stuff was implemented much more efficiently. In this session Ben will dive into the performance improvements in .NET Core in the 3.0 release: runtime changes, JIT changes, intrinsics and a deep dive into some of the improvements making it the best release yet!

The free Text Sharp extension lets you adjust text clarity in Visual Studio 2015, Visual Studio 2013, Visual Studio 2012 and Visual Studio 2010 IDEs (Professional, Premium, Ultimate and LightSwitch). You can select Aliased, Grayscale or ClearType text rendering mode for Visual Studio menu, tabs and editor windows. An easy way to turn off ClearType. (Aliased rendering looks terrible when text scale is changed from default 100% in text views, so Text Sharp doesn't override VS settings when Aliased+Display is selected and zoom level is not 100%.)

Many developers I talk to are either using Docker actively or planning to adopt containers in their environment. Containers are an important trend in our industry and .NET is part of that. Microsoft and Docker have been working together so that you’ll have a great experience using Docker with .NET apps.
