SQL is unusual is that data is not passively stored. Instead you use declarative SQL to specify the rules that underlie the data and its integrity. When used properly, constraints can avoid having to provide a lot of logic elsewhere. CHECK() and DEFAULT can do a lot to ensure that your data is correct 

Team Explorer support for TLSv1.2

• We have updated the Git and the Git Credential Manager components that ship in Visual Studio.
• The optional Git for Windows component has also been updated.
• This update allows Git to connect to services that have deprecated support for TLSv1 and TLSv1.1 in favor of TLSv1.2.

Issues Fixed in this Release

These are the customer-reported issues addressed in this release:

• Projects targeting .NET Core 2.1 or newer are not supported by Visual Studio 2017 version 15.5.
• Fixed issue where installation of the SDK for .NET Core 2.1 or newer would cause the option to create ASP.NET Core 2.0 Web applications to disappear.

A .NET guideline specifies that an application should never throw a NullReferenceException. However, many applications and libraries do. The NullReferenceException is the most common exception happening. That’s why C# 8 tries to get rid of it. With C# 8, reference types are not null be default. This is a big change, and a great feature. However, what about all the legacy code? Can old libraries be used with C# 8 applications, and can C# 7 applications make use of C# 8 libraries?
