Internet Information Services (IIS) 10.0 Express is a free, simple and self-contained version of IIS that is optimized for developers. IIS 10.0 Express makes it easy to use the most current version of IIS to develop and test websites. IIS 10.0 Express has all the core capabilities of IIS 10.0 and additional features to ease website development.

The benefits of using IIS 10.0 Express include:

• The same web server that runs on your production server is now available on your development computer.
• Most tasks can be done without the need for administrative privileges.
• IIS Express runs on Windows 7 Service Pack 1 and all later versions of Windows.

A couple of big features in this release include inline maps, where AutoMapper no longer requires you to call CreateMap for new maps. 

We are pleased to announce version 5.0.0 of Angular, pentagonal-donut. This is a major release containing new features and bugfixes. This release continues our focus on making Angular smaller, faster, and easier to use.

** Highlights
* IO bound methods have gained an async counterpart. Not intended for parallelism, make sure to await each
call before further interacting with a session and its queries.
* Strongly typed DML operation (insert/update/delete) are now available as Linq extensions on queryables.
* Entities collections can be queried with .AsQueryable() Linq extension without being fully loaded.
* Reference documentation has been curated and completed, notably with a Linq section.
 

• Support for .NET Core 2.0: you can now edit, run, debug, test, navigate and refactor your shiny new .NET Core applications.
  
• Rider 2017.2 comes with ReSharper 2017.2 as its engine for providing .NET support. This means a number of features announced with ReSharper 2017.2 are now available in Rider.

Version 2.0 of IdentityServer4 is not only incorporating all the feedback we got over the last year, it also includes the necessary updates for ASP.NET Core 2 – and also has a couple of brand new features.
