I want to take a quick look at file uploads using HTML and JavaScript. Nowadays, many websites don't show the raw <input type="file"> element anymore 

This release contains the previously released .NET Core 2.1.2 Runtime and the following:

• ASP.NET Core 2.1.2
• .NET Core SDK 2.1.400 

This past week of the bootcamp was devoted to the Microsoft ASP.NET Web API. In other words, students learned how to build the server-side half of their full stack Web apps. By this point in the camp, students understand how all of the various pieces of a modern web app fit together. 

This is a list of notable software packages which were published under a proprietary software license but later released as free software or open source software, or into the public domain. 

One of the functionalities I had to use fairly often on different ASP.NET Web API projects that I was involved in in the past was IP filtering – restricting access to the whole API, or to parts of it, based on the caller’s IP address. 

Finbuckle.MultiTenant

Finbuckle.MultiTenant is an open source framework for multitenant support in ASP.NET Core 2.0+ applications. Check out the GitHub repository for source code and samples or to provide feedback and suggestions. 

Today, the Entity Framework Core team announces the sixth preview release of EF Core 5.0. This release includes split queries for related collections, a new “index” attribute, improved exceptions related to query translations, IP address mapping, exposing transaction id for correlation, and much more. 

ASP.NET 5 beta7 is now available both on NuGet and as a tooling update to Visual Studio 2015! This release also includes the first public preview of the .NET Execution Environment (DNX) for Mac and Linux based on .NET Core – no Mono required.

Microsoft has announced expanded support in Visual Studio for game programmers by announcing greater interoperability with 3 of the major game engines available to developers:  Unreal Engine, Unity, and Cocos2D
