We are happy to release .NET 6 Release Candidate 1. It is the first of two “go live” release candidate releases that are supported in production.
SQL Server 2016 SP3: Last Service Pack for SQL Server
Microsoft.Data.SqlClient 4.0 Preview 1 has been released. This release contains improvements and updates to the Microsoft.Data.SqlClient data provider for SQL Server.
It is the last preview before we enter the (two) Release Candidate (RC) period.
Preview 6 is the second to last preview before we enter the RC period. There will be two RCs. This release itself is relatively small, while Preview 7 will be bigger.
In this release we have enabled animations and view transformations, completed the porting of several UI components, and introduced improvements to the single project templates.
We’re now in the second-half of the .NET 6 release, and starting to see significant features coming together. A great example is .NET SDK Workloads, which is the foundation of our .NET unification vision and enables supporting more application types.
