• Open API Specification (Swagger) on-by-default in ASP.NET Core API projects 

Today, the Entity Framework Core team announces the eighth and final preview release of EF Core 5.0. The next release will be a release candidate (RC). This release includes table-per-type (TPT) mapping, table-valued functions, SQLite table rebuilds for migrations and much more. 

.NET 5 Preview 7 is now available and is ready for evaluation. Here’s what’s new in this release:

• Blazor WebAssembly apps now target .NET 5
• Updated debugging requirements for Blazor WebAssembly
• Blazor accessibility improvements
• Blazor performance improvements
• Certificate authentication performance improvements
• Sending HTTP/2 PING frames
• Support for additional endpoints types in the Kestrel sockets transport
• Custom header decoding in Kestrel
• Other minor improvements 

The 18.6 release is the  second  major release of SSMS in 2020  and packs  several high  impact   changes , including a fix for  crashes in database diagram s.  Key fixes include:    

• Save to XEL file error fix.  
• B acpac  file  import  error fix.  
• Database diagrams crash fix.  
• Addressed sources o f three common application hangs.
