With the ASP.NET Core 1.1 release, many new features were introduced. One of them was  enabling gZip compression  and today we will take a look at another new feature which is Response Caching Middleware. 

For Linux users, Microsoft offers a new Skype app, which is a web app bundled with its own Electron engine. For those of you not familiar with Electron, it is a framework for creating GUI apps which uses Node.js on the backend and Chromium as the frontend. 

XPlot is a cross-platform data visualization package for the F# programming language powered by JavaScript charting libraries Google Charts and Plotly. The XPlot library can be used interactively from F# Interactive, but charts can also be embedded in F# applications and in HTML reports.
