1. We will move to a Chromium-compatible web platform for Microsoft Edge on the desktop.
2. Microsoft Edge will now be delivered and updated for all supported versions of Windows and on a more frequent cadence. 

.NET Core 2.1.0 (along with ASP.NET Core and Entity Framework Core) will be released around May 30th, but for folks who can't wait until then and would like to get their hands on the bits a little early, read on!

As you may remember, Microsoft has removed the IE Mode feature from Microsoft Edge. THe company has limited it to enterprise customers and IT admins. They have also stated that the feature was released to the public for testing purposes only. Here is a bit of good news - you can re-enable IE Mode when needed with recent versions of Edge!
