بهبودهای EF Core 2.1 در زمینه پشتیبانی از DDD

Entity Framework half-heartedly supported Domain-Driven Design patterns. But the new-from-scratch EF Core has brought new hope for developers to map your well-designed domain classes to a database, reducing the cases where a separate data model is needed. EF Core 2.1 is very DDD friendly, even supporting things like fully encapsulated collections, backing fields and the return of support for value objects. In this session, we'll review some well-designed aggregates and explore how far EF Core 2.1 goes to act as the mapper between your domain classes and your data store.

Is Not Null 
if(variable is { }) return false
  • πŸ™‚ This syntax supports static analysis such that later code will know whether variable is null or not.
  • 😐 Requires C# 8.0 since this is the method for checking for not null using property pattern matching.
Is Not Null 
if(variable is object) return false
  • πŸ™‚ Triggers a warning when comparing a non-nullable value type which could never be null
  • πŸ™‚ This syntax works with C# 8.0’s static analysis so later code will know that variable has been checked for null.
  • Checks if the value not null by testing whether it is of type object.  (Relies on the fact that null values are not of type object.)

jQuery 3.7.0 منتشر شد

jQuery 3.7.0 is now available! This release has it all: bug fixes, a new method, and a performance improvement! We even dropped our longtime selector engine: Sizzle. Or, I should say, we moved it into jQuery.

تمرکز اصلی در امکانات پیش روی Visual Studio بر DotNET Core میباشد

.NET Core, the reinvention of the Microsoft .NET Framework as an open source, cross-platform development choice, is a key focus of the upcoming features planned for the Visual Studio IDE.

In conjunction with .NET Standard -- a spec detailing what .NET APIs should be available on all .NET implementations -- .NET Core retains compatibility with .NET Framework, Xamarin and Mono while letting developers use Windows, macOS or Linux machines to code for mobile, cloud and embedded/IoT projects.

While still primarily driven by Microsoft dev teams, .NET Core is hosted on a GitHub repository and is supported by the .NET Foundation, an independent organization created by Microsoft three years ago to improve its open source development and collaboration.

Peeking at the Visual Studio Roadmap (updated last week) reveals .NET Core figures prominently in upcoming functionality for the IDE, both in the near-term and long:
