Devs Demand Visual Studio 2022 Ditch Old .NET Framework Dependencies
For many years now I’ve advocated not using the repository pattern on top of an ORM such as Entity Framework. This interface used to be used for validation but was replaced by INotifyDataErrorInfo. The new interface provides a much nicer API which is easier to code against and better performance. If you are still using the old interface, its time to make the change.
The end result is a 10X performance boost in speed, but without sacrificing all of the runtime exception logic that makes AutoMapper so useful.
