This repository was created with the intention of helping developers master their concepts in JavaScript. It is not a requirement, but a guide for future studies. It is based on an article written by Stephen Curtis and you can read it here. 

Entity Framework 7 (EF7) Preview 5 has shipped with support for Table-per-Concrete type (TPC) mapping. This blog post will focus on TPC. There are several other enhancements included in Preview 5, such as:

• Support for AT TIME ZONE in SQL Server
• Updates to command and connection interception (#23087, #23085, #17261)
• Addition of the delete behavior attribute

Microsoft announced today that its researchers have developed an AI machine translation system that can translate with the same accuracy as a human from Chinese to English.  

Modern software development practices value quick and continuous updates, following processes that minimize the impact of software failures. As important as identifying bugs early, finding out if changes are improving business value are equally important. These practices can only work when a monitoring solution is in place. This article explores options for adding observability to .NET Core apps. They have been collected based on interactions with customers using .NET Core in different environments. We will be looking into OpenTelemetry and Application Insights SDKs to add observability to a sample distributed application. 

In this post I look at the various different version numbers you can set for a .NET Core project, such as Version, VersionSuffix, and PackageVersion. For each one I'll describe the format it can take, provide some examples, and what it's for. 

Today, the Entity Framework Core team announces the second preview release of EF Core 6.0. This release includes changes to handling the synchronization context when SaveChangesAsync is called, smoother integration with System.Linq.Async, updates to string concatenation and improvements to free text search.

• Custom SVG icon library
• Switching to Hugo from Jekyll
• Major Javascript updates
• Minor CSS and class updates and fixes 

We’re excited to announce the release of .NET Core 2.1. It includes improvements to performance, to the runtime and tools. It also includes a new way to deploy tools as NuGet packages.
