This unexpected app port is arrives courtesy of the Uno Platform. They took the source code for Windows’s default Calculator app (which Microsoft made open source last year) and got it up and running on Linux desktops.
The new async and await keywords—which make
asynchronous code more concise, obvious, and maintainable—have arrived
in Firefox 52. Currently available in the latest Developer Edition release, Firefox 52 is scheduled for general release in March 2017.
So how exactly is Angular2 built such that it allows for custom renderers to be created? The first thing to understand is that the internal bits of Angular2 are split into two areas: the worker (core) area and the UI area.
The worker (core) area is responsible for building out the components, directives, filters, services and bootstrap code; The UI area is responible for rendering out the application in the DOM.
Last week, at ng-conf, the Angular team at Google provided the web developer world with an update on the state of Angular 2. They were joined on stage by a member of the TypeScript team, Jonathan Turner, to also announce that Angular 2 will be built using TypeScript. Jonathan then demoed a preview of the upcoming TypeScript 1.5 release via an Angular 2 sample application.
