Today, we’re announcing .NET Core 3.0 Release Candidate 1. Just like with Preview 9, we’ve focused on polishing .NET Core 3.0 for a final release. We are now getting very, very close. We intend to release the final version on September 23 at .NET Conf.
What is concurrent programing? Simply described, it’s when you are doing more than one thing at the same time. Not to be confused with parallelism, concurrency is when multiple sequences of operations are run in overlapping periods of time. In the realm of programming, concurrency is a pretty complex subject. Dealing with constructs such as threads and locks and avoiding issues like race conditions and deadlocks can be quite cumbersome, making concurrent programs difficult to write. Through concurrency, programs can be designed as independent processes working together in a specific composition. Such a structure may or may not be made parallel; however, achieving such a structure in your program offers numerous advantages.

We are excited to announce the release of .NET Core 1.0, ASP.NET Core 1.0 and Entity Framework 1.0, available on Windows, OS X and Linux! .NET Core is a cross-platform, open source, and modular .NET platform for creating modern web apps, microservices, libraries and console applications.
This release includes the .NET Core runtime, libraries and tools and the ASP.NET Core libraries. We are also releasing Visual Studio and Visual Studio Code extensions that enable you to create .NET Core projects. You can get started at https://dot.net/core. This project uses mocha, chai, typescript and vs code debug toghether, so you can write your api tests easily.
This is useful for scenarios when you've some api developed in python for example, but you'd prefer to develop tests in typescript/javascript.
Another use case is when you've some legacy api and you want to develop some tests to make [risk free change] of your legacy api possibel!
How to add proxy configuration to VS Code:
- Open VS Code as Administrator
- Open File > Preferences > User Settings
- Add following configuration to the open file.

ILoggerProvider: is responsible to create an instance of ILogger (you are not supposed to use ILoggerProvider directly to create a logger)
ILoggerFactory: you can register one or more ILoggerProviders with the factory, which in turn uses all of them to create an instance of ILogger. ILoggerFactory holds a collection of ILoggerProviders.
