JS Is Weird
JavaScript is a great programming language, but thanks to the fact that its initial release was built in only ten days back in 1995, coupled with the fact that JS is backward-compatible, it's also a bit weird. It doesn't always behave the way you might think. In this quiz, you'll be shown 25 quirky expressions and will have to guess the output. Even if you're a JS developer, most of this syntax is probably, and hopefully, not something you use in your daily life.

Chrome, at least in its experimental Canary version on Android (and only for users in the U.S.), is getting an interesting update in the coming weeks that brings back RSS, the once-popular format for getting updates from all the sites you love in Google Reader and similar services. 

In part 1 Tim provides an overview of extensions and talks about some of the enhancements in Visual Studio 2015 for writing extensions. He creates a very simple extension and then gives a quick overview of an extension he is writing.

 Its value MUST be a number containing a NumericDate value.

 A JSON numeric value representing the number of seconds from 1970-01-01T00:00:00Z UTC until the specified UTC date/time, ignoring leap seconds. At last week’s I/O Google unveiled DevLibrary, to add to its already wide range of resources for developers. The difference this time is that it's a platform intended to show off projects and tutorials that might otherwise go undiscovered.
