NHibernate 4.0 GA has been released. It comes with .NET 4.0 support, moving away from the Iesi.Collections library, and also supports some SQL Server 2012 features such as sequences and Query Paging. 

We’re proud to announce the release of PowerShell 7.1, the latest major update to PowerShell 7. This release includes a number of improvements and fixes that build on top of the PowerShell 7.0 release in March and the recent GA release of .NET 5.  

.NET 6 Release Candidate 1 (RC1) is now available and includes many great new improvements to ASP.NET Core. 

New LINQ extensions in .NET 6 and benchmarks 

At work, we are planning to migrate our WPF application from .NET Framework 4.7 to .NET Core 3.0. The main reason for doing so is that it was always a big pain to organize the updates of the .NET Framework on our customer machines. So being able to bundle .NET Core with our application is a big plus for us. Then, for sure, we are looking for the performance improvements brought by .NET Core and finally the new capabilities brought by the fast pace of innovation of .NET Core.
