In the same time when first object-oriented languages were emerging, another concept inspired by general relativity and quantum mechanics was taking shape – actor model. In general terms, the Actor model was defined 1973. and was developed on a platform of multiple independent processors in a network. Similar to the object-oriented approach, this essentially mathematical model, revolved around the concept of actors. An actor is the smallest structural unit of Actor model, and just like objects, they encapsulate data and behavior. In difference to objects, however, actors communicate with each other exclusively trough messages. Messages in actors are processed in a serial manner. According to the full definition of actors, they can do three things:

• send a finite number of messages to other actors
  
• create a finite number of new actors
  
• designate the behavior to be used for the next message it receives

The winner in terms of serialize speed is again FlatBuffer which still has the lowest overhead, but you need to go through a more complex compiler chain to generate the de/serialization code. The new entry MemoryPack is second which is the newest serializer

Why Serilog? It is easy to set up, has a clean API, and is portable between recent .NET platforms. The big difference between Serilog and the other frameworks is that it is designed to do structured logging out of the box. Another thing I really like about Serilog is that it can be configured via the appsetting.json file alongside configuring through code. Changing logging configuration without touching the codebase is really helpful, especially in the production environment. 

Console Apps are considered unimportant nowadays. I want to show why they are not IMHO and how to approach them after the latest C# updates.
