When you start working on a new web application you will probably need to analyze different tools to deal with the different functionalities that you have to work on. As soon as you start searching for alternatives you are going to run across Angular and React, they are without any doubt two of the major options to consider, at least till today.

JavaScript is an important technology for development on many different platforms, including web, mobile app, and server programming. In Visual Studio 2013 we already support IntelliSense, Go to Definition, colorization, and formatting of JavaScript source, along with several other features. We’ve carried these forward into Visual Studio 2015 and we’ve improved the experience for JavaScript developers by focusing on three key areas:

1. Improving the development experience when using popular JavaScript libraries
2. Adding support for new JavaScript ECMAScript 2015 (also known as ES2015 and formerly ES6) language and web browser APIs
3. Increasing your productivity in complex JavaScript code bases

There are 3 different projects that use the shared code: - a Blazor WASM project for the PWA - a MAUI Blazor project for Windows, Android, iOS and macOS - a Photino Blazor project for Linux 

This article dives into the mock questions I would ask, along with responses that are my personal best guess to the answers. Could my answers not reflect actual opinions shared by the team at Microsoft? Sure, but I'm hoping folks from the .NET team can jump in to correct me if I am way off base.

This is a rather interesting time for .NET – what's being done shapes the future of .NET for the next decade. Let's ask the honest questions and hopefully all of us will understand the new .NET ecosystem a little better.
