GitHub Community is built to support all GitHub users on their educational journey, via Discussions. It is a resource hub, learning portal, and inspiration station, all in one. Regardless of how big or small your challenge is, all resources and information will be accessible in a true open source fashion.
This addition complemented the GitHub Pull Request work we announced over a year ago. Starting with VS Code version 1.45, this new support to move the issues and source code closer together will be available in the GitHub Pull Requests and Issues extension (formerly named GitHub Pull Requests)

Porting existing code to .NET Core used to be quite hard because the available API set was very small. In .NET Core 2.0, we already made this much easier, thanks to .NET Standard 2.0. Today, we’re happy to announce that we made it even easier with the Windows Compatibility Pack, which provides access to an additional 20,000 APIs via a single NuGet package.
Today we released .NET 7 Preview 5. This preview of .NET 7 includes improvements to Generic Math which make the lives of API authors easier, a new Text Classification API for ML.NET that adds state-of-the-art deep learning techniques for natural language processing, various improvements to source code generators and a new Roslyn analyzer and fixer for RegexGenerator and multiple performance improvements in the areas of CodeGen, Observability, JSON serialization / deserialization and working with streams.
Domain-Driven Refactoring - Jimmy Bogard - NDC London 2022
Books, workshops, storming and more, all build up an idealized domain model. All describe great techniques for domain-driven greenfield applications. But what about the code we have? How can we take what's already built, and move it towards a better, more cohesive design?
In this session, we'll look at anemic, procedural, boring code and examine code smells that can point us in the right direction. We'll also look at standard design patterns for more complex behaviors and models, and how to recognize when (and when not) to apply them. Finally, we'll cover how to safely apply refactoring techniques to achieve our domain-driven model nirvana.
Following my last post on my ASP.NET MVC SEO-Framework I started looking at adding support also for ASP.NET Core MVC, with its superior Dependency Injection and Tag Helpers.
· EF 7.0.0 will not become the “official” version of Entity Framework.
· EF6 will continue to be the official version.
· EF6 will continue to be what’s delivered when you install entityframework via Nuget.
· Your apps that use EF6 will not automatically update to EF7!
