Samsung has released the fourth preview of Visual Studio Tools for Tizen. Tizen is a Linux-based open source OS running on over 50 million Samsung devices including TVs, wearables, and mobile phones. Since announcing its collaboration with Microsoft on .NET Core and Xamarin.Forms projects last November, Samsung has steadily released preview versions of.NET support for Tizen with enriched features, such as supporting TV application development and various Visual Studio tools for Tizen.

PostSharp 5.0 adds support for .NET Core 1.1, Visual Studio 2017 and C# 7.0. It also introduces brand new features like the [Cache] aspect, the [Command] and [DependencyProperty] aspects for XAML applications. And the Logging feature has been completely revamped, now fully customizable and faster than ever.

ASP.NET Core architect, David Fowler, supported by .NET Program Manager, Jon Galloway, will talk through their current thinking for the future of ASP.NET Core, beyond 2.0. Topics include the potential features of Kestrel, SignalR, and MVC as ASP.NET Core evolves beyond its current HTTP-only focus.
