Today, we’re announcing .NET Core 3.0 Release Candidate 1. Just like with Preview 9, we’ve focused on polishing .NET Core 3.0 for a final release. We are now getting very, very close. We intend to release the final version on September 23 at .NET Conf.

The included OpenSSH client now enables modern ciphers.
The gitweb component was removed because it is highly unlikely to be used on Windows.
The git archimport tool (which was probably used by exactly 0 users) is no longer included in Git for Windows.

is the most common exception happening. That’s why C# 8 tries to get rid of it. With C# 8, reference types are not null be default. This is a big change, and a great feature. However, what about all the legacy code? Can old libraries be used with C# 8 applications, and can C# 7 applications make use of C# 8 libraries?
