Native .NET Core Support
In the release 2018.1, we present a full-featured report generator, created using the cross-platform technology — .NET Core. A full set of Web components such as the report designer as well as additional tools for quick export and report printing is available. The .NET Core components are included in the product Stimulsoft Reports.Web and Stimulsoft Reports.Ultimate. 

There are now 40 such TLDs: android, app, bank, chrome, dev, foo, gle, gmail, google, hangout, insurance, meet, page, play, search, youtube, esq, fly, eat, nexus, ing, meme, phd, prof, boo, dad, day, channel, hotmail, mov, zip, windows, skype, azure, office, bing, xbox, microsoft, notably including ZIP and MOV. 

Since its original release in 2002, C# has been regularly updated with new features. Today, we will look at the most important new features of each major language version and explore how the C# code we have been writing, has evolved through years.  

Improper Authentication and Session Management

Most web applications have an authentication module, and we should be careful when writing code for it. We could make mistakes like not removing the authentication cookies after a successful logout. This kind of mistake allows attackers to steal user credentials such as cookies and session values, and may result in attackers being able to access the complete application and cause major negative impacts.
 

For .NET and cloud developers, we’ve focused on improving the inner-loop dev experience. New .http/.rest files make it easier to test and iterate on your APIs directly in Visual Studio, while improved Dev Tunnels help streamline the configuration and management of your webhooks. We’ve also made it easier than ever to deploy your ASP.NET apps to containers.

Game developers can now view properties from base classes modified in an Unreal Blueprint asset without leaving the IDE. Visual Studio has improved the cross-platform development experience with a new remote file explorer, Linux Console output to the Integrated Terminal window, dev container improvements, and more.

Beyond individuals, Visual Studio also has new features to better support dev teams at scale, with exportable configuration files and a persistent update toggle helping ensure everyone on your team is working from the latest version of the tool.

The future of C#
Over the last year we shipped no less than three "point releases" of C# (7.1, 7.2 and 7.3), full of small but useful language features.
