.NET Core 2.1.6 is available for download and usage in your environment. This release includes .NET Core 2.1.6, ASP.NET Core 2.1.6 and .NET Core SDK 2.1.500. All fixes of note can be seen in the 2.1.6 commits list. 

• Do use the interface IReadOnlyList<T> or IReadOnlyCollection<T> to expose a collection.

  • Use IReadOnlyList<T> if the item order is important and deterministic.

  • Use IReadOnlyCollection<T> if the item order is not important.

According to several websites, Python is one of the most popular coding languages of 2015.

The programming language is currently being used by a number of high-traffic websites including Google, Yahoo Groups, Yahoo Maps, Linux Weekly News, Shopzilla and Web Therapy. Likewise, Python also finds great use for creating gaming, financial, scientific and educational applications 

Starting today, Bootstrap 3 will move to end of life, and will no longer receive critical security updates.

Bootstrap 4 moved to Long Term Support release on February 14, 2019 and will no longer receive new features. It will continue to receive bug fixes, security updates, and documentation updates.

Linux is no longer a supported platform for Adobe Reader. 

Xamarin.Forms 4.0 is here with an array of new features and capabilities to help you create amazing, multi-experience apps that perform efficiently and look great. Xamarin.Forms 4.0.0 also introduces Shell—a simplified, navigation-aware container that makes it easier to build mobile applications. The upgrade path to 4.0 and Shell is also designed to be as simple as possible. Finally, the latest release adds extended support for faster renderers and a unified image source feature to help you create better apps for your users. 

ReSharper 2018.3.2 bug-fix update fixes:

- Many issues in C#, VB.NET, and TypeScript Code Analysis.
- More than a dozen issues related to parameter name hints.
- Missing “Find Code Dependent on Module” item in a context menu for a project node in the Solution Explorer tab.
- Several issues in Unit Testing.
- Some issues related to auto-detect naming style.
 

These are the customer-reported issues addressed in 15.9.4:

• Visual Studio 15.9 duplicate loads open files on solution reload.
• All users can now connect to on-premise TFS servers through Team Explorer.

• Fix C# UWP Store 1201 Submission Issue.
• Fix C# UWP package creation error APPX1101: Payload contains two or more files with the same destination path 'System.Runtime.CompilerServices.Unsafe.dll'.
• Error MT2002: Failed to resolve 'System.Runtime.CompilerServices.AsyncValueTaskMethodBuilder' reference from 'System.Threading.Tasks.Extensions...'" when building a Xamarin.iOS project.
• Redirecting to a relative url doesn't work when using AndroidClientHandler.
• Debug information for typedefs of unnamed enums compiled with the C compiler is now restored.
• The spectre-mitigated x86 version of delayimp.lib is now built with /Qspectre mitigations enabled.
• Changes were made to how Asset Catalogs in Xamarin.iOS projects are loaded in order to reduce solution load time.
• We have updated Xamarin.Forms templates to use the latest version.
• We have fixed an issue with ASP.NET Core Web Applications being debugged through Kestrel that would show the error message "Unable to configure HTTPS endpoint. No server certificate was specified...".
• Enabling the AppInsights site extension in App Service from Visual Studio now happens through the use of specific Application Settings.
