This article explains step-by-step the server-side manipulation of SVG using Microsoft ASP.NET and C#. The example server-side application demonstrates how simple and complex maps can easily be represented using SVGs.  

• Jil and ServiceStack.Text, while performance oriented are not nearly mature as Newtonsoft.Json. ServiceStack also produces "invalid" json to gain some performance.
• Newtonsoft.Json is stable and performant, but it can be as 3x slower than DSL baked in serialization. 

ChatGPT is bullshit

Recently, there has been considerable interest in large language models: machine learning systems which produce human-like text and dialogue. Applications of these systems have been plagued by persistent inaccuracies in their output; these are often called “AI hallucinations”. We argue that these falsehoods, and the overall activity of large language models, is better understood as bullshit in the sense explored by Frankfurt (On Bullshit, Princeton, 2005): the models are in an important way indifferent to the truth of their outputs. We distinguish two ways in which the models can be said to be bullshitters, and argue that they clearly meet at least one of these definitions. We further argue that describing AI misrepresentations as bullshit is both a more useful and more accurate way of predicting and discussing the behaviour of these systems.

Essentially, a bot is an application that can automate repetitive tasks or serve information to a user and, more and more, can interact with a user using natural language. As these bots get more intelligent and better at understanding us, this is providing a wide spectrum of use cases for bots to be used by and assist almost everyone.

Significant performance improvements were made, shared projects are now supported, code inspection severity can be configured, settings for our unit test runner can be edited, various updates to the NuGet tool window UI, and more. Microsoft Security Advisory for .NET Core Denial Of Service Vulnerability

CVE-2018-0765

Microsoft is releasing this security advisory to provide information about a vulnerability in .NET Core and .NET native version 2.0. This advisory also provides guidance on what developers can do to update their applications to remove this vulnerability.

Microsoft is aware of a denial of service vulnerability that exists when .NET Framework and .NET Core improperly process XML documents. An attacker who successfully exploited this vulnerability could cause a denial of service against a .NET Framework, .NET Core, or .NET native application.

The update addresses the vulnerability by correcting how .NET Framework, .NET Core, and .NET native applications handle XML document processing.

If your application is an ASP.NET Core application, developers are also advised to update to ASP.NET Core 2.0.8.
