CSS finally adds vertical centering in 2024

ASP.NET 5 uses the NuGet package manager to get server-side libraries but for client-side things we recommend folks use Bower. The most popular JavaScript and CSS libraries are there, and there's no need for us to duplicate them in NuGet. This means ASP.NET 5 folks get to use the same great client-side libraries that other open web technologies enjoy.

The weird world of non-C operating systems 

Entity Framework 7 (EF7) Preview 5 has shipped with support for Table-per-Concrete type (TPC) mapping. This blog post will focus on TPC. There are several other enhancements included in Preview 5, such as:

• Support for AT TIME ZONE in SQL Server
• Updates to command and connection interception (#23087, #23085, #17261)
• Addition of the delete behavior attribute

New Breaking Changes

Typescript 3.4 and 3.5 are no longer supported. Please update to Typescript 3.6.

tslib is now listed as a peer dependency rather than a direct dependency. Users not using the CLI will need to manually install tslib via yarn add tslib or npm install tslib --save. 

With this newest Blazor release we’re pleased to announce that Blazor is now in official preview! Blazor is no longer experimental and we are committing to ship it as a supported web UI framework including support for running client-side in the browser on WebAssembly.

Some concepts and constructs translate fairly well between C#/.NET and Rust, but which may be expressed differently, whereas others are a radical departure, like memory management. This guide provides a brief comparison and mapping of those constructs and concepts with concise examples. 

TL;DR: Nightly builds of the .NET Core Runtime for Ubuntu 16.04 on ARM are available here. These are "Hello World" tested on my Raspberry Pi 2 and Chromebook. Nightly builds of the SDK are expected in the next week or so.
